GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • Reports to the VP/General Manager and supports daily operations
  • Provide HR support for all Associates including but not limited to Onboarding, Timekeeping/Payroll, Record Management, and Office Administration.
  • Assist in the process of personnel security clearances, visit clearance requests, badge requests, and file maintenance. Assist the Security Manager with all facets of industrial security in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Defense Security Service (DSS), and other government agencies.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Provides a variety of administrative support for the effective and efficient operation of the office
  • Interact with and assist in providing HR services to internal and external customers within established policies and /or legal standards
  • Assist with Travel arrangements and processing
  • Onboard New Hires utilizing Red Carpet and conduct New Hire Orientation presentations
  • Conduct functions such as drug screening, background checks, and DMV driving reports
  • Initiate, review, and approve personnel security clearance investigation request (SF86) in JPAS and e-QIP
  • Assist with badging and visit clearance request as necessary
  • Process fingerprint cards for security clearances in SWFT
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform the I-9 process and E-Verify
  • Process timekeeping/payroll for assigned division
  • Coordinate special events such as office luncheons, company parties, etc.
  • Assist the management team with the office such as building maintenance, order supplies, bill coding/payment, etc.
  • Complete file maintenance of Associate Files and update Costpoint
  • Assist with file maintenance for Security Personnel Files and update JPAS
  • Maintain accounts for outside vendors for office services; such as vending machines, onsite shredding service, cleaning crew, paper products, and uniforms. Process invoices for payment.
  • Perform courier duties as required on daily basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
  • Ideal candidate will have willingness and ability to deal with a wide range of personality types and represent CDI in a professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently while maintaining composure.
  • Experience in the administrative field and related security experience. 
  • Familiar with HR/Security concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Must possess outstanding organizations skills and attention to detail
  • Verifiable computer skills in the high range.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of current NISPOM requirements
  • Knowledge of JPAS, e-QIP, ISFD, and SWFT databases
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must possess detailed administrative, organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
  • Ability to complete minimum DSS training courses within six months

Desired Qualifications

  • BS in Business Admin or Human Resources
  • Current security clearance
  • Knowledge of CostPoint
  • Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
  • Familiar with Microsoft Project

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position requires US citizenship and will be subject to a security investigation, must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain, and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
