GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide logistics support services in support of Army Watercraft.  Provide provisioning support services including research, provisioning documentation development, provisioning documentation update and identification of existing documentation for Army Watercraft and associated systems.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Candidates should be experienced with developing Basic Issue Items, Components of End Item, Interim Support Items Lists, Long Lead Time Items, Provisioning Parts List (PPL), On Board Spares, Additional Authorization List, PowerLog software and other items integral to the Army Provisioning System. Be able to prepare Technical Data for Provisioning packages for submission with PPLs and be experienced with Repair Parts and Special Tools List and Maintenance Allocation Charts development. Experience in the majority of the areas cited above and must be able to work on a project team interfacing with customer personnel.
    • Knowledge of the overall Army Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Process.
    • Experience with the Army Provisioning Process.
    • Experience with Army Provisioning Database Development.
    • Experience with Army PowerLog Logistic Support Data System.  Or equivalent systems such as SLICwave, ICAPS, or other DoD Provisioning/Logistic Support Systems.
    • Experience with the development of Army Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) Technical Manuals.
    • Experience in the Preparation of Army Maintenance Allocation Charts (MACs).
    • Experience with developing a Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) using the COMPASS program.
    • LCU-2000 Experience a plus.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience Supply Support Provisioning or HM&E Maintenance related to U.S. Army Watercraft.
  • U.S. Army Provisioning Specialists with PowerLog experience.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Employee may access remote areas of multi-level vessels
  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
