We are seeking experienced Highway Construction Inspectors for full-time seasonal schedules. This includes work on West Virginia Division of Highway projects.  Candidates will be responsible for providing daily inspection of construction work to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specifications. Positions will be located throughout West Virginia.

Previous West Virginia Department of Highways (WVDOH) experience and certifications are preferred, but not mandatory for employment.

WVDOH certification - WVTRET, knowledge of WVDOH standards, specifications and material testing procedures, and experience with SiteManager and ProjectWise is desirable.

Qualifications:

-Construction Inspection Experience

-A Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering field.

-Highway or bridge construction experience

-Highway or bridge design experience.

It would be desirable, but not required to have any of the following certifications:

-NICET Transportation - Highway Construction Level 1 or higher.

-ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician

-WVDOH certifications in aggregate sampling and technician, portland cement concrete inspector and technician, soil and aggregate compaction technician, asphalt plant and asphalt field compaction technician, or equivalent certifications from other states.
