Troubleshoots basic chemistry irregularities, identifies and communicates when a need exists for a process change, demonstrates willingness to learn new instruments and/or processes, ensures work is done according to safety guidelines, consistently meets quality standards, Successfully demonstrates ability to expand knowledge in a technical or specialty area, effective communicator and works as a team member, take on other tasks as assigned by supervisor which could include a lead role 

Participates in operating and making semi-complex adjustments to lab equipment and instruments. Participates in recording semi-complex test results and observations on standardized forms. Supports compiling, analyzing, and interpreting of results. Provides support in periodic semi-complex inspections of equipment and performs semi-complex preventative maintenance work. Participates in troubleshooting semi-complex test processes. Participates in making semi-complex calculations as well as preparing graphs and charts. 

Education: 

• Associates degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required. 
• Computer literacy in Microsoft applications required. 

Knowledge and Experience: 

• Ability to comprehend semi-complex electro-mechanical technologies 
• Effective communicator and team member 
• Demonstrates comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices.
• 2-5 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
