Job Summary:

Full-time position: Create and detail drawings with accuracy, working from direction provided by a Designer. While meeting customer technical standards and quality standards. Knowledge of GD&T is preferred. Team player and good communicator are a must.

As a Drafter III, you will develop detail drawings of jet engine components, test facilities and support equipment tooling utilizing NX

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Able to complete drawing design changes using applicable customer software.
• Able to create high complexity detail drawings with minimal guidance.
• Accurately perform high complexity numerical stack-up calculations and basic GD&T functions.
• Satisfactorily complete all Product Definition Engineering (PDE) Level Three required training.
• Work with customer and industry software & databases.
• Identify and prepare hardware specifications
• Communicate with Team Lead to ensure desired outcome.
• Perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

• Ensure high quality of work performed.
• Basic technical decision-making and judgment required to perform routine duties.
• Mentor less experienced drafters
• Conform to company policies and procedures.
• Improve knowledge of the organization and assist in developing goals.
• Ability to check simple complexity drawings following Customer standards.
• Must be able to hit OTD (On Time Delivery) and FTY (First Time Yield) targets set by Customer.

Job Qualifications & Skills:

• 1.5+ years drafting experience or demonstrated equivalent performance level.
• Associates Degree preferred
• Must have applied knowledge and understanding of drafting fundamentals.
• Knowledge and application of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) preferred.
• Experience in NX CAD preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Stable work history.

Education/degree Requirements:

• Associates degree or higher in Mechanical Design or other related field preferred
