Plumbing Designer

Location:

Ebensburg or State College, PA

Job Summary:

Mid to Senior level plumbing designer with at least 10 years of Plumbing and Fire Protection experience for educational, correctional, commercial, higher-ed, industrial, and public safety facilities. HVAC Design experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Perform plumbing design work, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, design software, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related design tasks in plumbing and fire protection.

Perform service and pipe sizing for water, sanitary, and storm systems within facilities.

Accountable for quality and accuracy of design.

Perform site investigations and evaluations, and prepare design reports.

Coordinate Plumbing/Fire Protection requirements with all other disciplines.

Job Qualifications & Skills:

Effective coordination and communication skills.

Self-starter, focused, well organized and team oriented.

Software Experience Required: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, REVIT MEP, and Microsoft Office required.

Education/Degree Requirements:

Two year technical degree, CPD is a plus.
