Job Summary:

The right candidate will have been involved with successful project delivery and award winning designs and capable of sharing their vision and talents with team members, clients, and the larger community. We are looking for an architect whose portfolio demonstrates holistic solutions that indicate a deep knowledge of best practices, ability to innovate within the prescribed program and budget, and someone who can effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders. The project architect will work in CDI Studio One (www.cdistudioone.com), a new architecture studio, devoted to innovation. 

 

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Provide project execution and leadership in various building types; Educational, Commercial, Industrial and Institutional project types and markets

- Proficiency in Architectural Design, Code Analysis and detailing

- Effective coordination and communication skills

- Production and coordination of Project Construction Documents

- Provide marketing, sales support and presentations, as needed

 

Job Qualifications & Skills:

- Minimum of 5 -10 years of client interaction with design and construction experience

- Bachelor of Architecture along with NCARB certification.

- Current license to practice Architecture in PA, NJ, WV required.  Additional States preferred; NY, DE, MD 

- Strong BIM/REVIT skills mandatory

- Strong Visualization Software skills mandatory

- LEED AP BD+C Certification required, strong Sustainable Design methodology preferred

- Excellent writing and communication skills required

- Experience with Educational projects in PA PlanCon, NJSDA and WV SBA prefferred

 

Education/Degree Requirements:

Bachelor of Architecture along with NCARB Certification

1. Design sense and ability to graphically communicate vision and project concepts

2. Strong BIM/REVIT skills to develop project documents

3. Collaborative and cooperation with project team lead and commutative
