The Lead Programmer Analyst provides leadership in full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses,

technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to

ensure delivery is on time and within budget. The Lead Programmer Analyst works within corporate application

development group and leads multiple projects as necessary to fulfill the hands-on core development tasks.

He/She directs component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for application

development initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. This position develops and leads

application development project activities and integrations. He/She guides teams to ensure effective

communication and achievement of objectives. This position researches and supports the integration of emerging

technologies. He/She provides knowledge and support and act as Tier 3 support for applications’ development,

integration, and maintenance. He/She facilitates collaboration with stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in a related

area is required. 7+ years of application development experience with 3+ years in lead role in the field or in a

related area is required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and structured application development and

support life cycle. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A

certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Key Technologies: Windows Servers, TFS, .NET, C# (MVC, WebAPIs, WCF, Entity Framework, etc.), ASP .Net,

IIS, SQL, MS SQL Server, JSON, XML, HTML5, JavaScript (Angular JS, Jquery, D3, Bootstrap, etc.) development

experience. Possess verbal dexterity, able to write with skill and grace is a definite plus.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (What do you have to be able to do to achieve the desired results of your job? Include management and

leadership responsibilities for work team leaders.)

 

* Responsible for establishing and maintaining a thorough understanding of the Enterprise architecture

* Provide technical guidance to developers and oversee the quality assurance of program logic, data

processing, and error resolutions.

* Lead technical design specifications and provide proof of concept for implementation.

* Lead or participate in peer reviews of technical designs. Provide final review of all custom-code

implemented.

* Take a project lead role to plan, estimate, schedule, develop and test applications with business analysts

and other developers.

* Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in

support of procurement and development efforts.

* Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the Software Development

Life Cycle (SDLC) as well as ensure other developers adhere to best-practice and understand the

ramifications of their code on the system.

* Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures.

* Lead offshore development and QA teams. Conduct daily scrum meetings.

* Define, develop, test, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements using Microsoft .Net technology. * Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging in C#, ASP .Net and Microsoft product lines. * Identify, schedule, and perform software improvements in Windows environments. * Generate statistics and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process. * Liaise with systems analysts, infrastructure, network administrators, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems. Liaise with vendors for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any adaptation issues. * Collaborate with other developers and business analysts in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications, deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments. * Write programs to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary using C#, ASP .Net, SQL, XML, Java Script and CSS. * Participate in all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming, testing, maintenance, documentation, and troubleshooting/resolution. * Ensure quality of release and release applications without affecting business users. * Resolve production issues on timely manner. * Train end users to operate new or modified programs. Prepare and conduct multi-day software training sessions. * Perform other duties as required by management. * Responsible for 24x7 environments and after hour calls.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES (What is required to perform essential duties?)

 

* A degree in Computer Science (BS/MS) or in Information systems.

* Strong technical skills in coding (C#, ASP .Net and SQL) and design are must.

* Strong communication, leadership, problem solving and client skills are required.

* Hands-on web-based integration technology experience, along with 10+ year’s professional programming

experience in C# .Net or ASP .Net

* Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint, Team Foundation Server, BizTalk and GreatPlains is preferred.

* Knowledge of financial applications is a plus.
