Description/Comment: This Software Engineering position will be supporting the entire software lifecycle for our embedded controller applications as part of an Integrated Product Development team. The candidate should be experienced in understanding system requirements, software design and development, informal and formal testing, hardware/software integration, and documentation required for aerospace programs. The use of commercially available off-the-shelf controller boards with operating systems (Windows, Linux, VxWorks) is increasing in our industry so familiarity with the associated Board Support Products in software design is a plus.

Additional Job Details: Skills required: Strong C/C++ development skills. Strong embedded software design and development skills for avionics applications. Understanding of data communications (1553,RS422, Ethernet). Strong test and debugging skills (software and hardware). Skills that would be a plus: Model based software design using Matlab/Simulink, MatrixX/SystemBuild, etc. Secure software design for embedded Windows environments. Experience with COTS controller boards. Mastery level experience required. Must be US citizen.
