GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services is currently recruiting one Subject Matter Expert 2 in Norfolk, VA for a SPAWAR program. 

• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 help for help desk problems.  
• Provide help troubleshooting data movement issues
• Provide expertise to perform IV&V on new software or software upgrades prior to release

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Provide technical training for fleet maintenance support software
• Writing software requirements and update requirements software
• Know and understand USN maintenance data flow and data communication standards
• Write and perform software test plans
• Document software deficiencies identified during testing

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical Training in software maintenance supporting Navy maintenance, logistics, and business systems.

• Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with software maintenance to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Software Maintenance and Sustainment, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in supporting Navy maintenance, logistics, and business systems.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant must have a current Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
• Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
