HVAC Technician

On behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry CDI Professional Services is seeking a HVAC Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Perform all phases of diagnostics, testing, and maintenance in support of warranty for HVAC.
Support diagnostics, testing, maintenance, and commissioning activities on behalf of Product Introduction.
Analyzes and finds solutions to various HVAC malfunctions (mechanics, electrical, electronic).
Uses manuals, drawings/blueprints, wiring schematics, diagnostic equipment, tools, special equipment to asses and rectify HVAC defects.
Work independently and as part of a team with laborers, other technicians, and supplier representatives to troubleshoot HVAC system, replace defective parts, rewire faulty circuitry, and upload/upgrade operating software via laptop link.

Mandatory Skills:

Technicians Diploma from an accredited technical college or equivalent experience
Environmental Protective Agency (EPA) 608 Certification. Type II
Background in HVAC systems in a Transportation environment is an asset.
Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Lotus Notes
