GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

• CDI is seeking Electrical Inspectors in support of COMNAVSURFPAC Engineering Readiness Assistance Team (ERAT) to provide:
• Sailor centric deck plate training assessments
• Reporting, analysis, recommendations, corrective actions and post-action reporting with crews as they prepare for major evolutions, certifications and inspections
• Position is Contingent Upon Award of Contract

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Identify performance/operational weaknesses throughout the assessment
• Provide training and expertise to support identified weaknesses and improve operational readiness for Dock Landing Ships (LSDs), Amphibious Transport Docks (LPD-17s), Mine Counter Measure Ships (MCMs), Guided Missile Destroyers (DDGs), Guided Missile Cruisers (CGs), Guided Missile Frigates (FFGs), General Purpose Assault Ships (LHAs),Multiple Purpose Assault Ships (LHDs), Amphibious Command Ships (LCCs) and Amphibious Transport Docks (LPD-4s) class crews.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Navy technical management experience on multiple ships
• Excellent and effective written & verbal communication skills
• Experience with shipboard electrical systems on multiple ships
• Current Active Secret Clearance
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous INSURV, ATG, MTS Experience is desired

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.
