GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

• CDI is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst for Cyber Security Support Services (CSSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD)
• This is a Full Time position in Pt. Mugu, California. This position is available for contingent hire

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Constant monitoring of applications and hardware to evaluate for any unusual activity.
• Ability to reduce damages and patch software from cyber threats.
• Create and set up systems that prevent cyber threats.
• Analyze network architecture and data to determine what updates and patches are needed.
• Audit the entire network to assess security and need for improvements.
• Capable of performing tasks independently.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical field and a minimum of  four (4) years experience in the planning, implementation, upgrading, and/or monitoring of security measures which make up the protection of corporate or government computer networks.
• Experience in DoN and DoD-relevant areas is a plus.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant will be subject to a security investigation.  This position may require an additional background screening for base access.
• Applicant must have a Secret clearance issued by the US Government and be Top Secret eligible.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Employee is required to access remote areas of multi-level vessels
• Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
