GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Software engineer / developer to develop Java script on a Linux platform for the Landing Signal Officer’s Display System (LSODS).

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Develop software for the Landing Signal Officer’s Display System using Java.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred with 3 to 6 years experience.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.
• Obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months
• OS training required for SCWF within 6 months

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Employee may access remote areas of multi-level vessels
• Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
