Integration, Maintenance and Support Engineer

 Description:

• The candidate will be using Jenkins tool or any other similar tools.
• The person would look at what is constructed and work with developers to determine the pain points.
• For example, some quality gates fail often due to broken gates. In the context where the developers have to manually run tests to validate and to ensure that they will pass the gates.
• The resource will be working with what is deficient and can be improved.
• In addition, they can suggest and implement the changes to the pipeline to reduce maintenance. 
• Figuring out the problem in order to know what needs to be improved.
• Change configurations to make the process works better.
• The main focus is on the process improvement.
• Maintaining the development pipeline: The resource will be using a tool that checks the code base and will also follow the steps need to make sure it passes quality gate. For example, test cases, unit tests, the structure of code testing and then the functionality of the code. There will also be another gate that checks against efficiency. 
• Figuring out the core reason to fix the pipeline.

Requirements :

• Experience in administrating Jenkins preferred (or related tool)
• Building and or designing a development Continuous Integration pipeline 
  (Each product has its own pipeline.)
• Knowing other Continuous integration tools.
• Python Scripting

 Build management, creating SW builds and how to run a development pipeline. 

·         Ideal experience in integration engineer, deployment, and support.

• The candidate has been using and supporting Jenkins or other build tools such as Gitlab

Nice to have the working knowledge of:

• Kubernetes orchestration
• Docker
• Ansible & shell scripting
•  Understanding of Java

Asset:

• Being able to read and work with python is a strong asset.
