DevOps Engineer

 

On behalf of our client within e-commerce services CDI Professional Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help automate development and deployment processes, centralize the capture and analysis of our ever growing logs, and automate our monitoring systems hooked up to our various client deploys.
  • Develop and manage automation code to improve software development practices and the health of deployments.
  • Working close with team of developers and data scientists to build solutions that power slick mobile and web applications.

Mandatory Skills:

  • You have experience implementing and maintaining developer, deployment, and analysis tools.
  • You understand engineering best practices: automated testing, version control systems, documentation, and continuous integration, duct tape redundancy, etc.
  • Comfortable in a Unix development environment.

Bonus experience:

  • Jenkins Continuous Integration
  • ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)
  • Python (+ for Flask, SQLAlchemy, Celery)
  • RDBMS (+ for PostgreSQL)

 

Anticipated Start Date: 

  • ASAP
