GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • CDI is seeking Subject Matter Expert Combat Systems Inspectors in support of COMNAVSURFPAC Combat Systems Readiness Assistance Team (CSRAT) to provide:
  • Sailor centric deck plate training assessments
  • Reporting, analysis, recommendations, corrective actions and post-action reporting with crews as they prepare for major evolutions, certifications and inspections
  • Position is Contingent Upon Award of Contract

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Identify performance/operational weaknesses throughout the assessment
  • Provide training to correct identified weaknesses and improve operational readiness for Guided Missile Destroyers (DDGs), Guided Missile Cruisers (CGs), Guided Missile Frigates (FFGs),
  • MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Over twenty years of experience with the technical aspects of the operations and maintenance of the AEGIS Combat Systems suite. Experience level should be comparable to that of an AEGIS Combat Systems Maintenance Manager (CSMM).
  • Direct operational and maintenance experience with AEGIS Combat Systems suite, Navy Sonar systems, VLS, CIWS, BMD and SPY radar systems.
  • Extensive experience with the technical aspects of the operations and maintenance of Navy network and communications systems, supporting systems, and interfaces with associated shipboard systems.
  • Direct operational and maintenance experience, within the last five years, with the operations and maintenance of Navy electronic warfare and countermeasures systems currently employed in the Fleet.--High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent and effective written & verbal communication skills.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Secret Security Clearance. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
