GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services is currently recruiting a Computer System Network Engineers in in Norfolk, VA for the Fleet Introduction Support Program. 

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring the Network (LAN) is operational and available.
  • Position is contingent upon contract award

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for LAN equipment and computing environment, setup configurations, equipment interfaces, data extraction requirements, proper activation and interfaces with other elements
  • Serve as the LAN Network Administrator, identify and resolve equipment and computer program issues, analyze test results, report findings/status
  • Identify necessary special recording devices/test equipment, special instrumentation, and data collection media that will be required
  • Provide support for crew preparations/training, trials, data analysis, for trials, equipment and documentation discrepancies, fault isolation issues
  • Conduct test, analyze test results, and report findings as necessary regarding cybersecurity systems and equipment
  • Track, plan, and document results of scans, to include the Scan and STIG and SRG results and residual risks
  • Acquire and prepare all security software updates for deployment to the system in the operational environment and applicable land based test sites

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of Program Management experience, seven of which were in the last 10 years
  • Master’s degree in Business, Management or Engineering
  • At least five years of supervisory experience
  • At least five years of LAN/WAN management experience
  • Professional CISSP certification
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Proficient with Microsoft products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant must have a current Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
