Mid-Sr. Electrical Designer needed to join the SW Houston Engineering Center. Additional details include but are not limited to:

Essential Functions:

Lighting & power plan design and layouts
Produce One line diagrams / Panel schedules / Load calculations / motor schematics
Cable tray design and layout
Ability to create complete construction package with little to no supervision
Interface with engineers and other disciplines on critical design elements
Field investigation of existing electrical systems

Competencies

Requirements:

Min of 12+ years Electrical Design experience.
Ability to read one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams and schematics.
Experienced with bill of materials for cable tray, cables, lighting and grounding.
Solid knowledge of reading and understanding electrical area classifications and determine appropriate installation details.
AutoCAD (Autodesk) a must.
CADWORXS 3D preferred.
Ability to work with little to no supervision.
2 year Associate Degree a plus.
