Our client, a large multinational organization in the telecommunication services, network and mobile services industry, is currently seeking a Front-End developer with experience in Angular and JavaScript for a contract role in Montreal.

Job description: 

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years or more of relevant experience
• In addition to pertinent technical experience, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and the ability to work under pressure.

Required Technical Competencies:

• At least 5 years in a software development position, with emphasis on Web & Front-End design
• Strong Front-End Web Development experience (JavaScript, AngularJS v1 & v2, PrimeNG,  HTML/CSS, interfacing to server via REST calls.)
• Experience with debugging web client applications using multiple web browser clients (IE, Firefox, Chrome)
• Experience using SCMs (ideally Git/Gerrit)
• Experience with Agile teams (SCRUM) methodologies

Asset: 

• Experience with continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins/Hudson) an asset
• Experience with back-end (Java, REST, Sprint MVC, databases) is an asset
