C++ Developer

Our client, a large multinational organization in the telecommunication services, is currently seeking a C++ developer  in Montreal.

Main Responsibilities

• Codes, implements and integrates complex software programs in C++.
• Resolves trouble reports.
• Troubleshoots and debugs new or existing software programs.
• Develops and executes unit/basic/function test cases and framework.
• Participates and contributes to improvements of software development (products, processes, methods, tools)
• Participates and contributes to design inspection and / or code review.
• Works in advanced design and / or maintenance activities.
• Performs unit, basic, function and systems testing activities and design / maintenance documentation.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences or equivalent

Competence / Knowledge

• C++ programming language
• Open Service Availability Framework (OpenSAF)
• Linux administration and development
• Scripting (e.g.: Bash, Python, Perl, etc)
• Teamwork
• IP networks technology
• Software Engineering methodology (Agile, Streamline, ICE)
• Test Automation skills
• Development & Test tools (e.g.: IBM Eclipse, JUnit)
• Presentation & Communication skills
• Telecom networks and telecom standards (eg: SIP, Diameter, Radius, etc)
• Project management concepts
• Quality & Process Management
