Title: Geologist

Location: Ebensburg, PA

  • Working knowledge of Geophysical equipment including ground penetrating radar and utility locating equipment.
  • PennDOT Certified Drill Inspector familiar with Publication 222 (May 2014) logging procedures (for PennDOT I 84 work),
  • One to two years of geotechnical (PennDOT) logging experience
  • Willingness to travel out of town for extended periods of time.

 

Bonus skills, but not requirements:

  • Experience/knowledge in performing infiltration tests (double-ring infiltrometers or Maryland Method D procedures)
  • HAZWOPER 40 hour trained
  • Experience with environmental sampling of soils, groundwater, and surface water
  • Working knowledge of PADEP ACT 2 procedures
  • Soils lab technician experience
  • Experience working around heavy equipment,

 

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Geology preferred.
