GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services is currently recruiting an Administrative Support (Tech Librarian/Classified Stowage) in Washington DC for the IWS 8.0 program: 

  • The Librarian/Security Manager position is an on-site member of the staff who reports to the Site Manager
  • Assists the Site Manager and FTO/FTM (PE) in planning, executing, and documenting security processes and infrastructure and in managing such processes and facilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day operation of the classified library including receipt, tracking, storing, cataloging, and issuing of classified drawings and documents
  • Should be familiar with latest security requirements

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Provide onsite personnel security clearance verification, clearance message processing, security badge control, security requirements, emergency procedures, and other pertinent site policies
  • Manage secure storage and technical documentation facilities
  • Assist in planning for storage and management of technical documentation (tech library)
  • Ensure proper security measures are in place for storage of classified Hard Drives, data tapes and other classified material
  • Provide “Check-in” services to all team members.  Services include on site personnel security clearance verification, clearance message processing, security badge control, ensuring awareness of safety requirements, tag out requirements, security requirements, emergency procedures, and other pertinent site policies
  • Develops and administers systems for secure stowage of media, up to the “Secret” level at each site office and availability work sites
  • Provide status reports as directed

 

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience and a minimum of Associates (AA) Degree is required or 6 years of professional / military experience relevant to the position.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Proficient with Microsoft products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant must have a current Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
