Business Affairs - Contracts / Agency Relations

CDI Inc., is looking for qualified candidates to fill the role of Business Affairs Specialist. It is expected to be 12 month+ assignment. This would be a W2 position with our company, CDI, and you would work onsite at our client’s location in San Francisco, CA. Title: Business Affairs

Were looking for someone who can efficiently manage and negotiate legal and business relationships with partner agencies and external marketing partners

Top 3 Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and liaise with agency partners and set up new partners internally
  • Handle all marketing legal documents including development, negotiation, and approval of SOWs, partner deals, and content licensing agreements.
  • Manage the contractual process for our agency partners, including drafting documents, obtaining agreement and approvals, and submitting for final legal review.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership over our supplier procurement process to managing contracts and agreements.
  • Be a master of the budget. Oversee the overall team budget, how it integrates into the wider marketing team, and oversee multiple budgets and schedules for concurrent projects simultaneously.
  • Build a relationship and rapport with internal agency team in Mountain View

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (no specific field required)
  • 4-6+ years of experience as a Business Affairs
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience or similar role
  • 3 years of work experience in brand and technology marketing

  • Results-orientated, resourceful individual with strong collaboration skills who is willing to pitch in beyond their core role
  • Able to clearly define objectives and prioritize workload in a rapidly evolving and technical work environment
  • Able to work cross-functionally and negotiate with key stakeholders
  • Strong communicator and ability to build relationships with various teams across legal, marketing, and agencies
