The product uses a smartphones rich input sensor suite to provide an accessible, highly social experience to enjoy with family and friends. Here we tackle tough problems with incredibly talented teams. We are a fast-paced group that builds groundbreaking new products, as quickly as possible.

The Creative Director is responsible for all aspects of the games design. Working with the Product Manager (PM), you will establish the core game mechanics and additional gameplay for a mobile entertainment product, then document them for implementation by other teams. Ideally, the Creative Director is experienced with Unity3D and can rapidly build whole prototypes.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities include: Working with PM to design all game mechanics Generate concepts, storyboards, sketches, design documents, and other artifacts as needed to communicate the design vision Work well with other team departments (engineering, art, production)

Other Responsibilities include: Source, hire, manage, and direct internal and/or external design team Provide visibility into design team budget and schedule Write clear, concise game design documentation, from one-page descriptions, to executive summaries, to full feature specifications ready for implementation

Requirements: Minimum eight years of experience as a designer in the video game industry At least five shipped games, minimum of two on mobile Experience with the Unity3D game engine Ability to build gameplay from existing scripts Flexibility to adapt design under changing technical and strategic conditions

Deep understanding of mobile game mechanics such as retention loops, compulsion mechanics, slot machines, collection mechanics, etc. Passion for one or more of: social play, cooperative play, board / miniature / tabletop gaming, multiplayer gaming Proactively raise budget or schedule issues so production has time to respond Strong people skills, can take direction while contributing productively to games final look Familiarity with source/version control systems (git, mercurial, perforce, etc.) Relentless focus on shipping on time Can work on site in Mountain View Must be authorized to work in the US

Nice to have's: Passionate gamer Art skills (pencil, pen, paint, charcoal, or similar) Ability to code prototypes from scratch to test and iterate on game concepts
