Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the electrical product architecture
• Provide technical oversight of the electrical development by leading teams of electrical engineers at external partners
• Facilitate the appropriate use of design reviews
• Ensure thorough documentation of studies and design decisions
• Tackle surprise problems in development and in production, including enabling rapid prototyping and quick board spins with flawless execution
• Find and solve new design issues at board bring-up
• Assist with component selection, layout, documentation
• Collaborate closely with test group on production test fixtures
• Travel to Asia for builds and tactical problem solving - China, 1-2 weeks every 2 months - ~15-25%

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS (MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years industry experience, 2 years leading EE development for mobile consumer devices
• Must be proficient in analog circuit design and debug
• Must have excellent lab skills (test & measurement equipment)
• Must have Schematic and Layout tools experience with either Cadence or Altium
• Experience and interest in developing deep subject matter expertise in some of the following areas: batteries, power supplies, displays, touch, wireless protocols, RF & antennas, MCUs, signal integrity, mixed signal analog & audio, power management, biometric sensors
• Team oriented and effective communicator

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with capacitive touch solutions preferred
