Duties and Responsibilities: 

Performs activities related to the installation, upgrade and support services required for web layer and application layer middleware software and infrastructure. Involves working closely with project management teams and other technical teams such as Unix SA’s, Windows SA’s, DBA's, Networking team and application development team to provide middleware support and technical assistance.

Skills Required:

• At least 3 years experience in Middleware Administration working with technologies listed below.
• At least 3 years experience in at least one or more of the following: installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant middleware technologies.
• At least 3 years experience in advanced Middleware Application Server Administration.
• Certified in at least 1 Middleware product such as Websphere Application Server or other similar technology.
• Must be fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects usually on specific assigned projects, issues and problems. Several projects will usually be active at the same time, so the ability to multitask is essential to success for this position.
• Must have hands-on experience creating Change Management processes for deploying applications within the messaging infrastructure.
• Ability to gain awareness of business or function, for which application is designed, is important.
• Must have the ability to produce and provide documentation and mentor existing staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must.
