Skills Overview (list or overview) Includes z/OS Performance Management (tracking, measuring, analyzing and reporting system performance to meet agreed upon service levels) and Capacity Management (development and maintenance of tactical and strategic plans to ensure that the physical IT resources of supported operating environments accommodate the customer’s growing or changing business requirements). The services performed may vary based on the mainframe operating system. Candidates must have proficient skills (level 4) in using PCM products and tools such as WLM, ISPF, Omegamon, TMON, Mainview, TDS, SAS, MXG, zPCR, zBNA, BWATool, SMF/RMFIII/RMFGAT, JCL, GSMRT, MS Office, SYSVIEW. Knowledge of Tivoli Omegamon (OM )product suite and ITM infrastructure concepts, including installation and configuration of TEMS on z/OS. Responsibilities will include product installation, problem diagnosing, PD system and software issues ranging across the OM family of products. Knowledge required on z/OS and z-based applications. Applicants must have strong trouble shooting skills.

Requested proficiency levels; Skill level 4: Knowledge of the OM product suite including OM V5 MVS/CICS/DB2/IMS/ Omegaview, Installation and configuration experience with the OM product suite using ICAT and PARMGEN, Problem solving, z/OS systems skills, and communication skills; Skill level 3: CICS, DB2, IMS, VTAM, TCP/IP knowledge, SMP/E, z/Linux, Storage Management, Websphere MQ, RACF, ACF2,  Years of Experience (minimum years) 3 Educational Requirements (minimum requirements) Bachelor's.
