- Oracle DB Onsite Lead – 1 No.
- Location – USA (Location TBD)
- Excellent Communication Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in handling Oracle DB, along with Goldengate and Exadata
- 8+ years of total database experience required.
- Previous onsite experience preferred
- H1 / L1 visa preferred
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle x.* and MS SQL databases on UNIX and NT servers
- Apply patches and upgrades for Oracle
- Physical Data modeling
- Database refresh, re-org, Backup using RMAN and 3rd Party Tools. Oracle Grid
- Provides troubleshooting support for potential data issues.
- Analyzes the issue to determine the root cause and develop solutions or escalate to - the appropriate team/stakeholders.
- Backup/restore
- Datagaurd, Statspack, TK Prof
- Database and Application tuning and performance monitoring
- RAC – Oracle 9i or 10 G
- Handling Oracle databases as a DBA on Unix/NT environments
- Monitoring user connections/performance
- UNIX knowledge is preferred
- Experience in Migration/Upgrades/Patch implementation in databases
