OSP Design Engineer, San Antonio

Responsibilities:
Support the design cycle of the Outside Plant Fiber Network from preliminary design through to a fully constructible job package.
Produce network maps using GIS or CAD software
Support new developments, network relocations and network upgrades.
Support finance metric development, reporting and dashboard reporting.
Manage and support ticketing system, review requests for information from our vendors.
Review design specs and documentation.
Create workflows, progress reports and processes.
Develop and maintain project schedules

Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or 5 years of relevant recent work experience,
-5 years of telecommunication networks design experience.
-Outside plant (OSP) experience.
-Proven project management skills.
-Mastery of computer system
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-GIS experience
-FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) Drafting Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
-Excellent troubleshooting skills and creative problem solving abilities under pressure.
