Position will report to Director, Business Partner Procurement Engineering. The position will support the Procurement team in new product sourcing and transfer to Operations.

Previous experience in procurement, materials planning and/or sourcing required.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage request for quotes (prototypes to production).
Create and manage material ramp up plan and transfer to Operations
Placement of purchase orders as needed
May negotiate pricing and other contract terms
May support cross-functional supplier selection

Requirements: Must be a college student, GPA of 3.0 higher preferred

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain or quantitative field such as Engineering
Excellent communication (verbal, written and reporting) skills
Strong quantitative, analytical, process and troubleshooting skills
Able to demonstrate attention to detail, superb organizational and follow up skills
Works well in a collaborative environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,)
Project management and research skills
Enjoys problem solving, utilizing multiple resources
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
