CDI Inc., is looking for qualified candidates to fill the role of Re. It is expected to be 12 month+ assignment. This would be a W2 position with our company, CDI, and you would work onsite at our client’s location in Mountain View, CA. Project Overview:

In Apps we're rethinking what productivity and communication mean, and how they intersect in today's technology ecosystem. User Experience (UX) is at the forefront of everything we do, and Research plays an important role in creating inspired, refined and even magical experience for users. You'll be working alongside extremely talented Product Managers, User Experience Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to help test out new product feature ideas.

Top 4 Daily Responsibilities: Coordinating with all the researchers (as well as PMs directly as researcher becomes more experienced) to plan out bi-weekly studies Designing and running biweekly studies Working with the central recruiting team, and appending extra related work for enterprise Summarizing results from the studies

Other Responsibilities: Working with trusted testers and helping to process and understand their feedback Coding open-ended HATS responses Usability testing for new products and ensuring we're ready for launch Track participants whom are approached for various studies, building off the tracking spreadsheet currently in use

Understand all upcoming studies and piggy back, or combine efforts if it makes sense.

Help facilitate/track ongoing efforts with Legal, Sales, and Research Recruiting to put better long-term systems into place for enterprise studies.

May involve some collaboration with central UER recruiting team.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science or related field or 4 years of equivalent practical experience
  • 2-4 years of work experience in an applied research setting
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience, including experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with remote usability testing tools, such as Keynote or UserZoom.
  • Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
