CDI is actively recruiting for the following:

Hours would be: Sat 7pm - Sun 7am Sun 7pm - Sat 7am And then either Monday/Tuesday 10pm - 6am or Thursday/Friday 10pm - 6am.

We are leveraging Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) and hiring the Site Reliability Engineering team to run the Operations Center Services (24/7) We are looking for well-rounded Operation Engineers who have supported 24/7 services and deployed software rollouts.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Managing 2000 servers, Java platform and Backend MySQL
• Monitor the service, troubleshoot and resolve issues

Top 3 Responsibilities:

• Monitor 2000+ servers
• Deal with alerts (Servers failing, hard disks are full etc)
• Basic Linux type work

Required Skills:

• B.S in Computer Science or related field or 3 years equivalent work experience
• 5+ year experience in Operations Engineering
• Linux/Unix Systems Administration experience in a 24/7 environment managing a medium to large server farm
• Scripting or development background (ex. Basic Shell Scripting, Ruby, Python, Perl)
• Prior experience automating tasks that are not yet automated and be able to read/understand/modify existing scripts

Nice to Have: General understanding or previous interaction with the following:

• Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) - Will train candidate
• Networking (ex. LoadBalancers, Routers)
• Splunk Administration
• Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
