GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services is currently recruiting a Configuration Management Lead in Washington DC for the IWS 8.0 program. 

  • Responsible for the performance of configuration management activities
  • Conduct configuration identification, change control, release management, physical and functional configuration reviews and audits
  • Participate in CM planning and policy implementation

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Manage set up and control for development and product components; Participate in identification and marking of baseline product components; produce status accounting or other metrics regarding effectiveness of the CM process; participate in CI control tool evaluations and implementations
  • Report on CM activities and maintain status accounting records. Conduct process audits.
  • Coordinate with project and QA to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Support the Change Control process. Develop and conduct CM training. Participate in process improvements. Support the IWS CCBs.

 

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-10 years of relevant experience and a minimum of BA/BS degree is required or 14 years of professional / military experience relevant to this position
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant must have a current Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
