GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services is currently recruiting a Data & Configuration Management Analyst in Norfolk, VA for the IWS 8.0 program. 

  • Responsible for the technical support for SI&T Configuration Management and Data Management and ensuring CM practices are adhered to throughout the life cycle
  • This position reports to the Senior Design Engineer/Integrator

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Perform CM audits, configuration identification, release builds and packaging for delivery, prepare associated documentation
  • Establish, document and maintain the software and database configuration environment
  • Participate in product peer reviews and requirements analysis meetings to ensure CM objectives are met
  • Prepare documentation and reports, reviews and/or analysis of change data
  • Coordinate changes across various activities such as engineering, quality, support and engineering data control activities
  • Coordinate and support Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) reviews
  • Develop, maintain and update the SID/CM ECP review database

 

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-10 years of relevant experience and a minimum of BA/BS degree is required or 14 years of Professional / Military experience relevant to the position.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant must have a current Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
