GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services is currently recruiting one Customer Service Representative (01043) in Norfolk, VA for a SPAWAR program. 

  • Provide user and help desk assistance to document computer and network problems, such as malfunctions and program operating problems.  
  • Provide documentation to tier 2 and tier 3 personnel to resolve computer and network issues. 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Using knowledge of the work processes, applicable regulations, workload, and practices of the facility and its computer users provide assistance to users to document computer and network issues. 
  • Expand or modify the system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.  
  • Educate users about new or changed procedures and conduct special projects and upgrades as necessary.
  • Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to customer and senior management as requested.
  • Serve as primary interface and technical contact to customers
  • Manage multiple program components and activities simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness is achieved

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Five (5) years of US Navy Computerized System experience, to include: Providing information and solutions in response to inquiries pertaining to products, services and/or customer complaints. Duties may include, but are not limited to, accessing databases to retrieve and/or record information such as customer incidents or service requests; responding to customer needs or inquiries; documenting and tracking requests for services from other activities; processing customer requests; keeping records of customer interactions; and updating customer account information. Experience with knowledge management tools and known issues/errors tracking tools.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicant must have a current Secret clearance and may be subject to a security investigation to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
