Test Development Engineer

Contract: 18 months+

Job Description:

This role will be developing and executing tests for our Product Verification Group and our RF/Microwave Group.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Product Verification Engineering/ Analog & RF/Microwave Products Group
• Develop verification tests and programs to verify functionality and performance of AC & RF/Microwave products.
• Develop test plan, describing measurements to made, equipment to be used, and uncertainty of measurements.
• Develop test fixtures and calibration processes for fixtures as required.
• Implement and debug tests per the plan via programming of product under test as well as test equipment.
• Integrate and work with all areas of product development to analyze, understand, debug, and close any gaps between product performance and product requirements.
• Perform statistical evaluation of results and release tests to production.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

• Strong understanding of Analog and RF/Microwave hardware fundamentals, design concepts, and measurement techniques. Knowledge of Modulation standards is a plus.
• Experience with Precision Analog and RF/Microwave performance measurements. Experience with Millimeter Wave measurements and test setups is a plus.
• Experience with SW Programming (C, C#).
• Self-starter with ability to easily integrate across engineering functions.
• BSEE/MSEE w/ minimum of 3 years’ experience. Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
