Qualifications and Experience:

University Degree in Materials or Metallurgical Engineering (Advanced Degree is preferred).
Work experience in Laboratory environment. (min. 3 years is preferred)

Experience in metallurgical aspects of wide range of alloys with emphasis on austenitic and martensitic stainless steels, nickel and cobalt-base superalloys (e.g. metallographic examination and microstructural interpretation) is an asset.

Demonstrated ability to develop and convey thoughts clearly & concisely through both oral & written communication with people throughout the Service & Manufacturing environment. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
Initiative, knowledge and judgment to develop practical, cost effective solutions to complex technical problems.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment as required.
