As a technical writer, you'll contribute to one of several externally-facing documentation that educate developers about new tools and technologies for integrating with Googles Ads APIs. You'll work with other tech writers and engineers to determine which new developer features need documentation. You'll work independently to make changes to the online documentation and use cases and will also spend time resolving issues with existing documentation to keep it up-to-date.

You might have a background as a developer and write documentation on the side, or you're a seasoned communicator with basic level experience in one of the programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ or PHP or have a strong background with HTML, Linux and JavaScript. One thing for certain: you are passionate about helping developers build amazing things.

Daily 3 Daily Responsibilities

• Partner with SME to create new documentation due to new releases and feature enhancements
• Edit developer guides for newly released APIs
• Quickly fix documentation and use case errors reported by users

Additional Responsibilities

• Organize documents as a common SDK

Required Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience
• Solid understanding of how technical concepts work
• Solid understanding of HTML (have the ability to look at the code and have a basic understanding of its functionality)
• Experience reading and understanding in one of the following program languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C++
• Experience working in command-line environment for navigating and managing files
• Experience with online publishing for documentation
• Experience partnering with and writing documentation for Software Developers
• Must be detail focused, be able to work efficiently and be able to prioritize work loads and deliverables

Nice to have Experience with Google Docs is a plus Experience in the financial, trading or web-based technology industries is a plus
