Full stack Software Developer

 Our client, a large multinational organization in the telecommunication services industry, is currently seeking a Full-Stack developer for a contract role in Montreal. JOB SUMMARY: 

We are looking for a candidate who has a solid experience with both back-end (JavaEE, Spring) and Front End (UI) Web development (advanced JavaScript programming skills with Angular framework or Ajax) and design and test experience with REST APIs. 

The role covers the full development lifecycle from requirements, design, development and test. The team work Agile with best of breeds technologies and open source tools (micro-service architecture, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Docker, test automation framework, etc) . In addition to development, the candidate may also do in-depth troubleshooting/debugging (code level) and get involved with operations (DevOps).

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

•    Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent 
•    3 years or more of relevant experience

REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: 
•    JavaEE and Spring
•    Front-end development (JavaScript OOP, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Websockets, REST Interface design using JSON, MVC design patterns)
•    SQL and NoSQL database (MongoDB more specifically)
•    Linux
•    Tomcat
•    RESTful APIs
•    Visual/Graphics Design skills 
•    Experience with debugging web client applications using multiple web browser clients (IE, Firefox, Chrome)
•    Agile teams (SCRUM) methodologies

Additional competencies (assets):

•    Angular JS 
•    Git, Gerrit
•    Continuous integration processes and tools (Maven and/or Gradle, JUnit,  Jenkins, Sonar) 
•    Automated testing (Cucumber, Selenium, …)
