Role description and responsibilities

ATAP is a fast-paced, project-focused innovation group. Projects are developed and executed at the intersection of ambitious science and an urgent user need or application.

Project Overview:

As a TPM, Jacquard Software for the Project Jacquard team, you will drive software development and deployment for a variety of partners starting with our first consumer partner, Levis. You will be critical to driving the software teams to deliver robust firmware and app development, collaborating with the project team and internal and external engineering resources.

Overall Responsibilities:

Create, track and maintain schedule and milestones for product software development Identify, engage and manage contractors with well-defined milestones Monitor development progress in all workstreams and flag potential problems Create and update any documents that describe software requirements and specifications Follow execution of the product plan Work with product management, UX design, app development, back-end infrastructure development and firmware engineers to arbitrate and schedule new features, bug fixes, and maintenance tasks Participate in and/or initiate cross-functional discussions to identify and address dependencies Maintain communication with prospective product partners and interested parties

Top 3 daily responsibilities: Create, track and maintain schedule and milestones for product software development Identify, engage and manage contractors with well-defined milestones Monitor development progress in all workstreams and flag potential problems

Required skills: 5+ years in a Technical Program Management role. 2+ years in this role specifically leading a software engineering team Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

Nice to have: Experience with Agile Methodologies a plus Ideal candidate has experience in both hardware platform and software development from concept to mass production Experience working with third-party development partners
