This is an Enterprise IT client, so night and weekend work will be required
On-call response is required, you must be able to travel to your assigned work site quickly.
You will work directly with the customer daily

Required Technical Skills
Microsoft Technologies
Proven experience in MS Windows server support with advanced OS configuration and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with AD configuration, management, troubleshooting and Group Policy
Proven experience with Intel-based servers (IBM/Lenovo experience preferred) for server hardware setup, configuration, troubleshooting.
Proven experience building Windows servers on physical hardware
Experience securing Windows servers to a written security standard
Understanding of audit and compliance requirements and documentation relating to Microsoft technologies
Experience with Windows & Intel HW management, monitoring, backup/restore and alerting solutions in an Enterprise
VMWare Technologies
Proven experience with VMWare clusters, hosts and vCenter setup, security and configuration
At least 3 years experience supporting and operating an Enterprise level VMWare environment.
Proven experience in creating MS Windows templates for deploying servers in vCenter
Knowledge of VMWare networking, storage, and HA/DRS
Experience implementing VMWare guest backup strategies
Experience with VMWAre / vCenter management, monitoring and alerting solutions
Excellent skills in diagnosing and resolving VMWare outages
Desired Additional Technical Skills
Familiarity with IBM/Lenovo blades and PureFlex
Previous experience working on IBM accounts
VMWare and Microsoft Windows Server certifications
Experience using DNS solutions (ie QIP, InfoBlox)
Familiarity with IBM Systems Director monitoring
Scripting skills for gathering information and automating tasks.’
