Based in Thunder Bay, the Industrial Engineer leads projects and kaizen improvement workshops.

Conducts process analysis and modeling using work streams, simulation, critical path, and line balancing.

Engages in work execution planning and interacts with cross functional teams.

Uses sound bench-marking principals and techniques as required for analysis.

Improves the quality of labour productivity data through proven techniques and new technologies.

Maintain cognizance of new manufacturing processes within the transportation industry and in the plant.

QUALIFICATIONS

- You have a degree/diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent;
- You have a minimum of five (5) years’ applicable experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the transportation industry;
- Knowledge and experience in using sound Industrial Engineering principles as they relate to work study, process analysis and resource planning.
