CDI has a permanent, full-time Mechanical Engineer position available in the Northeast TN region. The right candidate will need to be either a PE or EIT and want to move up in a company to principal/ownership level. The right person will have a great background will all aspects of commercial/ light industrial facilities including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Mechanical Engineer Job Description:

Design of all Steam, HVAC, plumbing , fire protection and process systems for the firms projects including
- industrial ventilation
- control systems
- life cycle cost analysis
- energy audits and analysis
- heat recovery
- solid fuel and alternative fuels studies
Must be a good communicator and be able to meet with clients to discuss all aspects of a project including budgets
Have a good working knowledge of ways to meet project deadlines utilizing the team member approach and be able to supervise existing staff
Knowledge of Autocad is a plus but not a requirement.
