Use technical knowledge and engineering principles to measure, evaluate and record data related to manufacturing production, as directed by the site Industrial Engineering team. Assist with projects, suggest improvements for manufacturing methods, and maintain records. Help to solve technical problems. Recommend methods of operation, material handling, and equipment layout.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

Perform time studies across production operations in order to establish accurate production times and routing and/or process improvement activities.
Maintain routing within the companies MRP software.
Assist in sites lean manufacturing/continuous improvement activities (6S, Value Stream Mapping, Gemba walks, shop floor management, standard work development, etc.).
Assist in production area layout design, updating of production layouts using CAD software, and development of production equipment, tooling/fixtures, and work cells.
Process quotation requests for equipment, tooling, and supplies needed for production area improvement projects and initiatives.
