Experienced Project Manager with PE needed to join the CDI CORP site team in Deer Park, Texas.

• Solid experience running projects up to $20MM TIC
• In plant experience a must (chemical/Petro/Refining)
• Primary responsibility for execution of downstream capital (and expense) Projects from front end development to detailed design and construction including procurement, cost control, and schedule management.
• Accountable for delivering projects safely.
• Manages 5 to 7 simultaneous projects with competing priorities in various execution phases on a wide variety of manufacturing processes in the refining and chemical complex.
• Develops project scopes in collaboration with operations, process engineering, and discipline representatives.
• Accountable for ensuring the proper technical authority approves the design including the appropriate technical authority of equipment specification and drawings.
• Works with Project Controls department to develop project cost estimates and schedules for each phase and for final funding.
• Accountable for meeting project cost and schedule requirements and providing accurate forecasting.

Must have robust knowledge of phase-gated project excecution in the petrochemical industry. Experienced in development and implementation of project procurement strategies. Able to effectively coordinate engineering scope with construction and construction management. Experienced in facilitation and development of engineering man-hour estimates. Exhibits technical competences necessary to drive engineering issues to resolution.

Bachelors in Engineering a must.

10 years experience in petro chemical industry as owner or EPC in projects.

5+ years project management experience in a downstream petrochemical plant.
