JOB DESCRIPTION

CDI Corp. is currently recruiting candidates for an exciting opportunity located in Arlington, VA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’ degree in engineering, architecture, or construction.
• Must have an understanding of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, Requests-for Proposals and contracts.
• Due to the nature of the work, candidate must be a US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
• Security clearance of Secret or above is required.
• Ability to understand A/E design practices, sequencing, and schedules.
• Ability to utilize P6 software.
• Ability to generate project construction schedules is required.
• Ability to generate project design schedules is required.
• Knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P-6 is required.
• Knowledge of cost estimating a plus, but not required.
• Ability to do a master integrated schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provides the client with current schedules for the design process.
• Ability to integrate a master schedule with a multitude of projects.
• Works with Project Managers and other disciplines to evaluate appropriateness of project durations.
• Establishes and maintains a schedule database.
• Maintains consistent and period communications with other team members.
• Prepares and/or coordinates preparation of full project schedules.
