Title:  Microsoft System Administrator – Senior

Term – Six-months contract then convert to Permanent Employee

*Job Summary 

An immediate opportunity for a Senior Microsoft System Administrator to support a government agency’s capabilities in Washington, D.C (Union Station / Red Line).

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Windows Server infrastructure, to include, oversight of Active Directory and SQL Server. 
• Provides leadership to the Windows Server team, overseeing activities within server imaging, Active Directory management, and SQL Server.  
• Responsible for incident management as it relates to Active Directory and SQL Server. 
• Performs advanced troubleshooting of complex system issues.  Works primarily in a virtualized environment,  

*Minimum Requirements 

• Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience administrating and managing servers and systems, specializing in Windows operating systems. 
• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and SQL Server. 
• Must possess a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) - Server Infrastructure or equivalent
• May be required to work evenings and weekends.
• Participation in a 24x7 on call rotation may be required. May be required to travel to locations and data centers (<10% travel required.
