Google Analytics Engineer

Looking for a Google Analytics Engineer who will build and customize Google Analytics to track 5 company applications to understand how customers use the applications.

Client is looking to answer the following questions:

-How do our customers interact through applications?

-what are the customers looking at?

-can we leverage google analytics to analyze it?

-site is already tagged for google analytics

-set up reports/etc

Do these words have meaning for you?

• Custom Dimensions and Metrics
• Google Tag Manager and the dataLayer
• Events, Goals, and View filters

This is a job that involves doing four things each day:

• Building and customizing Google Analytics
• Tracking websites and mobile apps, and visualizing data
•  

Requirements:

• Must have used Google Analytics and implemented/configured/customized it in some demonstrable capacity (experience with  Adobe Analytics, WebTrends, ia also a plus.)
• Must enjoy fast-paced work and overcoming technical and business challenges
• Must be able to communicate effectively and write well
• Must be able to work onsite in Mt View, CA

Nice-to-haves:

• You have an entrepreneurial knack: perhaps you’ve set up own website or blog
• You know JavaScript or have some level of experience reading code, in any language
• You know Regular Expressions

Bonus points:

• You’ve passed the GAIQ test!
• You’ve worked with Google Analytics APIs or the Measurement Protocol
• You’ve worked with BigQuery or have used data visualization tools like Tableau
• You know something about R and can speak about big data
