HR Support or HR Coordinator

Location: East Walpole, Massachusetts 02032

Terms: Internship

MUST HAVE: BA/BS Degree in Human Resources Management or in relevant HR Degree. (Close to graduation will be considered).

Update Note:

We are open to a recent college graduate or even someone pursuing their career in HR.

The job is 40 hours but if someone is going to school at night for HR and can work 32 - 40 hours would be considered as well.

Overview:

  • We prefer some professional human resources experience, preferably from a summer internship or co-op assignment is preferred.
  • You must be a proactive, results-oriented person with a desire to take your career into higher level HR roles.
  • Can you demonstrated the ability to be flexible, adapt quickly to changing circumstances?
  • Must have strong software skills in power point, excel and word.
  • Must have proven ability to work independently with minimal direction - takes initiative and is proficient at establishing internal relationships.
  • Proven communication and project management skills.

  • The Temporary role will be responsible for providing entry level HR Generalist support to the Sr. Director of Human Resources for a growing Manufacturing site in Walpole, MA to facilitate the activities necessary to meet the HR and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build solid working relationships with HR team actively assist them with the implementation and roll out of special projects, act as a resource for a wide range of employee issues, responding directly when possible and redirecting or escalating as necessary.

  • Assist and support projects associated with the ongoing manufacturing organization along with the expansion team.
  • Acts as a resource for a wide range of employee issues, responding directly when possible, and redirecting or escalating as necessary.
  • Assist with Employee Relations and Performance Management Process Partner with HR team to assist in new hire onboarding.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ongoing one-on-one meetings with employees.
  • Maintain, manage and update data in our HR systems.

Education Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing or have a BA/BS degree in Human Resources Management or another related HR degree.
